The 24th Anniversary Compilation on Freude am Tanzen is now released as a bundle of all three EPs together, exclusively with an individually designed rick. From House to Minimal to Dub Techno, the compilation reflects the diversity of the label's history. With familiar and new faces. This compilation is the beginning of a new phase for the music label from Jena.
Freude am Tanzen is back for a very special occasion. In 2022 and 2023, three Various Artists EPs will be released, celebrating the 24th anniversary of the label from Thuringia. Whilst occasions like this would normally be celebrated on the quarter century, this release makes sense not only on the mathematical level. 3 compilations with 4 tracks provide the half of 24.
The release however also makes sense in terms of history. Freude am Tanzen is showcasing a broad range of electronic music, never neglecting their history but also looking into the future.

Having had them as guests in our mothership Kassablanca, Freund der Familie make their debut release
on our label. Thank you!
There are only very few artists out there, that incorporate vocals into a track like Gathaspar. This can be best experienced on his own imprint Chypre, that he has started in 2016. Next to his impeccable choice of vocals he also knows how to build not only a beat but a very strong vibe Apart from an album in collaboration with MRI on their Resopal Schallware, Gathaspar has released on Amam, Nilla, Howl Stamp and Curtea veche, but also is no stranger to Freude am Tanzen having released two eP's already. Apart from that, he is known for his outstanding deep DJ sets.
